To help Laligurash English School achieve its long-term challenging goals the school would like to invite volunteers to join the teaching program - volunteers experience life in a rural area - people willing to give their time to do something positive for the remote children of Nepal. Volunteering makes it possible for both hosts and visitors to have a rewarding experience. Volunteers gain a sense of satisfaction from contributing to Nepalese communities. Volunteer teachers enable students to form relationships with someone from another culture, and the teachers can learn different teaching methods and techniques.

Laligurash School is aware that not all volunteers posses the same skills and capacity, which is why the volunteers' prime responsibility is to organize extracurricular learning activities. Volunteers have a light schedule of three to four lessons a day and this allows time for additional activities such as sports and games that are really appreciated by the children.

Volunteer Rural Nepal is able to keep the cost of volunteering to a minimum as we are not aiming to make a profit. We use all of the income for conducting programs, maintaining an office and providing education to unprivileged children. Volunteer Rural Nepal uses volunteer’s funds for the host families and host institutions. Volunteer Rural Nepal, whilst the volunteer is living in the village, will manage living accommodations, meals and supervision for volunteers throughout their stay in Nepal. Most volunteers placed in Kathmandu projects stay at our home base.
